Finally…Instant Anxiety Relief

Let’s assume that you want to avoid the drugs (or find that you don’t like the side effects) and cave dwelling is not a realistic option. That leaves Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ). JSJ is an ancient Japanese Healing practice, which predates acupressure and acupuncture. Like acupuncture, it works on the energetic flows of the body, but without the needling.
While Jin Shin Jyutsu is fairly new to the Midwest, hospitals across America and around the world have practitioners on site to help alleviate anxiety and pain, enhance the immune system, balance digestion, prevent chronic fatigue, and achieve emotional equilibrium.
The Jin Shin Jyutsu perspective of your state of health or disharmony is based on how the energy flows in your body. A JSJ practitioner is trained to assess your energetic flows by feeling for “pulses” and noticing how you hold the body. During a session, you lie on a table, fully clothed, while the practitioner uses her hands as “jumper cables” along critical energy centers of your body. The experience is safe, harmonizing and relaxing.
Clients commonly report great relief from anxiety, especially with a series of sessions. Seasoned Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioners can also provide clients with simple self-help techniques to support the body between sessions.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A PATIENT? The patient remains fully clothed and lies faces up on a comfortable surface. The Practitioner places hands on the patient’s wrists to examine several energy pulses. Depending on the energy imbalances detected, the practitioner gently places hands on various combinations of the body (the SELs) and releases energy blockages along particular pathways. Clients typically report that Jin Shin Jyutsu treatments are deeply relaxing AND their body is self-healing. At the end of the session, the practitioner may suggest self-help exercises.
